Courtenay and Jeremy are one of the most down to earth couples I know. Photographing their wedding was an absolute pleasure. They both made sure their wedding day was as much about their guests as it was about them, which meant they wanted to spend as much time with their family and friends as possible. So all up I think we had 5 or 6 minutes to photograph the bride and groom and this was after I stole them away again for a second time after they'd eaten.
They had planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather leading up to their wedding day was not too kind and this meant their plans were changed to an intimate indoor ceremony in the barrel room at Brookefields Vineyard in Hawkes Bay.
Courtenay is a chef, so it was a given that the food was going to be beautiful and trust me, it was a-maz-ing! Jeremy's family own an orchard so the tables were named after different types of apples which was a very fitting touch.
Their beautiful daughters featured throughout the day with the big sister doing a speech for her mummy and daddy and the little sister sleeping throughout the entire ceremony!
